What inspired you to become a project manager?
I sort of stumbled into my first role as a PM, but I quickly realized I was a natural and was meant to do it. Since I was young, I’ve always been very organized and enjoyed using a planner, making checklists, or making spreadsheets … I love creating a plan and making it come to fruition.
What is your approach to providing great customer service?
Authenticity, integrity and empathy. I am a strong believer in being who you are and doing what you say you’ll do. I’ve found that those characteristics resonate positively with people and can quickly earn trust and respect. Understanding what someone is feeling so you can connect and understand them is also key.
Who is your tech or design inspiration?
My best friend, Lauren. She is a very talented graphic/web designer and I’ve learned so much from her over the years. She never fails to impress me with her knowledge and creativity.
What is a tip you can give to someone that is interested in a similar career path as you?
Practice/refine your skills, seek more knowledge, and absorb the wisdom of colleagues or others in the industry.
What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
- Shopping – I love skincare and interior design
- Watching movies/shows
- Playing bass guitar
What is your favorite movie?
I can’t think of a favorite right now, but I love a good ole rom-com or something that pulls on the heartstrings.
What is your favorite type of food?
Mexican/tacos! Being from Southern California, it’s my nostalgic, comfort food.
