The organization’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that there is a better way; in the expression of love, dignity and respect; the value of hard work; and the importance of giving people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to make a contribution to society and to live as independently as possible.
Lambs Farm needed a new website to reflect its new brand; portray all of the great work it was doing; and introduce functions to increase community engagement, donations, and cross-sell a wide variety of products made by program participants.
Solid Digital thoughtfully approached the project with a focus on the multitude of user needs.
We applied the organization’s new branding style guide to all elements of the website; deployed an easy-to-update content management system that powers all pages and the blog; and developed a scalable and organized photo gallery to reinforce Lambs Farms community-building efforts. We also introduced ways to easily connect with Lambs Farm (driving directions, hours of operations, feedback forms, event registrations and more).
We enhanced Lambs Farm offline community with online tools to connect, share and promote the organization via: blogs, Flickr, Facebook, Twitter and announcements about upcoming events. We also deployed an e-commerce solution that aligned with existing purchasing processes.
Within the first month of launch, our efforts increased visits by 945 percent, page views by more than 900 percent, and reduction of bounce rates by 37 percent. Organic search engine traffic increased by 1,227 percent within six months after launch.
“A completely new website was an instrumental component of the implementation of our new branding strategy. Solid Digital gained a quick understanding of the vision and easily incorporated it into the new site. Their development process made for a smooth, manageable and enjoyable project. We are thrilled with the results as we have already seen vastly improved site traffic and numerous customer accolades.”
