I knew that I wanted to work in some kind of creative space and was looking for a role which would allow me to support a variety of creators and project management was a great option.
I enjoy the collaborative nature of working on the Solid Digital team. My role also does not feel restrictive, I have a primary role and focus but also feel invited to think strategically and participate in the creative process.
After managing many projects I’ve learned that there are few projects which could be considered simple. I have worked on many different types of projects and am always learning from my experiences.
Have honest communication often. It’s so important to communicate clearly.
So far it’s been the new website for St. Charles Trading. I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the strategy process and am excited by the potential the site has to really communicate what St. Charles Trading is all about.
I go see live music whenever possible, do some light hiking, have game nights with friends and I take a ceramics class at Portland Community College.
For a while, I volunteered at the IPRC (Independent Publishing Resource Center) but my passion project the past few years has been fixing up my home and doing any renovation work I can (with lots of help from my family).
The MET in NYC. I went to college 30 miles north of NYC and going to the museum was a requirement for some classes. I enjoyed spending hours there when I could.
My favorite thing is the focus around learning and improving. We have access to good learning tools and dedicated time throughout the month to collaborate on innovations and improvements throughout the month.
Canadian bacon, pineapple and jalapeño
Spotify, I’m always listening to podcasts or music.
Q: What are three things still left on your bucket list?
Get an internship. It was how I got started and I found it invaluable.
I’d like to be known for being funny and kind.
